Information We Collect When You Use The Website

In addition to the Personal Information, you provide directly to us, TCAI may also collect information from you automatically as you interact with our Website via “cookies,” pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies. This information can include:

  • Automated technologies or interactions. As is true of most websites, we receive and store certain types of Personal Information whenever you interact with us online. This information may include Technical Information and Usage Information. When you access and/or use our Website from your mobile devices, we receive Technical Information from that mobile device. You may manage how your mobile device and mobile browser share location information with us, as well as how your mobile browser handles cookies and related technologies by adjusting your mobile device privacy and security settings. Please refer to instructions provided by your mobile service provider or the manufacturer of your device to learn how to adjust your settings.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, and other tracking technology to recognize your browser or device and to capture and remember certain information about your activities on our Website with the purpose of delivering customized and personalized services.
    • Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer or mobile device by a web page server when you visit a website. You can view and delete cookies through your browser settings. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. However, some features of the Website may not function properly if you choose to decline cookies.
    • Pixel Tags (aka clear gifs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, which allow us to monitor the use of our Website, for example, to count users who have visited those pages and for other related website statistics. Pixel tags generally work in conjunction with cookies, registering when a particular device visits a particular page. You cannot decline pixel tags; however, if you turn off cookies the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous visit. In addition, we use pixel tags in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
    • Analytics. We use third party cookies provided by Google Analytics to assist us in better understanding our Website’s visitors. These cookies collect IP address and usage data, such as the length of time a user spends on a page, the pages a user visits, and the websites a user visits before and after visiting our Website. In addition to reporting usage statistics, Google Analytics can also be used to help show more relevant ads on Google properties (like Google Search) and across the web. For more information on Google Analytics, visit Google’s Privacy and Terms.
    • Your ‘Do Not Track’ Browser Setting. Some web browsers incorporate a Do Not Track (“DNT”) feature that signals to the websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. At this time, our Website does not respond to DNT signals. Other third-party websites may keep track of your browsing activities when they provide you with content, which enables them to customize what they present to you on their websites.
