The Center proudly announces the appointment of Joshua A. Sanchez as its new Director of External Affairs, a key leadership role designed to expand the organization’s reach, deepen community partnerships, and drive engagement in support of its transformative mission.
A mission-driven development professional, Sanchez brings more than seven years of experience securing multimillion-dollar gifts, building strategic donor relationships, and leading high-impact fundraising campaigns. He most recently served as AVP of Business Development & Congressional Affairs at Keiser University, where he cultivated relationships with elected officials, corporate leaders, and philanthropic partners to advance institutional priorities. His career includes senior roles in government relations, strategic partnerships, and external affairs, making him uniquely equipped to bridge sectors and rally broad-based support for The Center’s bold vision.
At The Center, he will oversee relationships with civic leaders, corporate sponsors, cultural partners, and community stakeholders, serving as a leading voice for the organization’s visionary programs that keep kids curious, empower adults to spark reinvention, and discover together what’s next. This historic effort will ensure future generations have access to spaces, programs, and experiences that unlock creativity, inspire innovation, and fuel collective progress.
