The Center is pleased to announce that Sherry Lynn Fazio is joining its team as the Executive Director of Development, bringing more than two decades of nonprofit leadership and fundraising expertise to advance The Center’s mission of inspiring creativity through innovative programming.
Sherry’s career spans progressive leadership milestones starting with grassroots nonprofits in New York and New Jersey to successfully operating her own consulting practice for over a decade, including her time as the Chief Revenue Officer at Food Allergy Research and Education. She consulted in the past with many clients including the Realized Worth Institute, Beyond Type 1 and New York Cares on projects ranging from nonprofit infrastructure development to social impact strategy and all areas of charitable engagement.
In her new role, Fazio will help secure support for The Center’s groundbreaking programs with initiatives designed to nurture imagination, fuel creative problem-solving, and foster innovation across generations. These offerings will empower kids to explore, invent, and express their ideas, connect generations through shared making and mentorship, and help adults and organizations reignite imagination and adapt to a changing world. Merging art, nature, and wellness, they will spark curiosity, foster confidence, strengthen creative “muscles,” and inspire fresh perspectives. Together, these experiences will not only enrich individual lives but also strengthen communities, drive innovation, and cultivate a culture where creativity thrives.
“The Center is more than a future campus, it’s a movement to integrate creativity into the fabric of everyday life,” said Fazio. “I’m honored to join this remarkable team to help ensure these transformative programs reach the people and communities who will benefit most.”
Andrea Virgin, Chair & CEO of The Center, added, “Sherry’s ability to connect mission with meaningful partnerships will be essential as we launch programming that can have a lasting impact both locally and globally. Her leadership will help us bring these experiences to life and sustain them for years to come.”
The Center for Arts & Innovation is committed to creating spaces, programs, and partnerships that cultivate creativity as a lifelong force; shaping individuals, unlocking human potential, and driving collective progress.
