Max Adelstein is a nonprofit development leader with more than a decade of experience owning fundraising strategy, cultivating high-impact partnerships, and securing millions of dollars in philanthropic support for mission-driven organizations. Known for his relationship-centered approach and strategic vision, Max has built a career helping nonprofits strengthen their financial sustainability, expand community engagement, and elevate organizational impact.

Max is stepping into the role of Vice President of Major Gifts at The Center for Arts & Innovation, where he will focus on developing transformational donor relationships and advancing philanthropic initiatives that position the arts as a driving force for innovation, accessibility, and cultural connection.

For Max, this work is deeply personal. As a devoted father, he is passionate about helping build communities where creativity, wellness, and human connection are accessible to the next generation. He believes the arts have the power not only to inspire, but to create lasting social and economic impact.

Outside of fundraising and community leadership, Max is an avid beginner padel player and if you can’t find him at a networking event, you’ll likely find him on the court.
