The I Wonder…? Workshop Series was created for adults who are ready to try something new, not because they have to, but because something inside them is asking “I wonder what it would be like?”

The “I Wonder… What It Would Be Like to Record in a Studio?” experience is an immersive, hands-on journey into the world of music creation, designed specifically for adults who want to explore something new, reconnect with their creative instincts, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Whether you once loved music but drifted away from it, or you have never stepped inside a studio before, this program meets you exactly where you are.

Hosted at Oolite Arts in Miami Beach, “I Wonder…What It Would Be Like to Create with Clay on a Canvas?” offers a deeply immersive, hands-on experience that blends texture, color, and self-expression in a truly unconventional way. Led by artist Karen Starosta-Gilinski, participants will explore the tactile and meditative process of applying water-based, non-toxic clay directly onto canvas. Rather than using a traditional brush, you’ll work with your hands and texturing tools, shaping, layering, pressing, and sculpting vibrant clay into dimensional works of art. This experience invites you to slow down and engage your senses.

After months of mentorship, exploration, and hands-on filmmaking, five young storytellers will bring their original visions to life on the big screen at the “What Do You See?” Fellowship Short Film Premiere.

The “What Do You See?” Short Film Fellowship & Premiere invites aspiring filmmakers ages 10-18 to create an original short film that answers this year’s inaugural prompt: "When you think of creativity, what do you see?"

“I Wonder… What It Would Be Like to Write Poetry?” invites you to explore the powerful intersection of visual art and written word. Hosted in collaboration with Miami Poetry Club at YoungArts, this immersive evening workshop introduces participants to the art of ekphrastic poetry, a form of writing inspired by visual artwork. Through close observation, guided prompts, and reflective conversation, participants will engage with visual pieces in a thoughtful and intentional way. You’ll be invited to slow down, notice details, and explore your personal response, whether that response connects to memory, emotion, imagination, or narrative.

“I Wonder…What It Would Be Like to Capture A Moment Through Photography?” invites participants into the art of portrait photography, an experience that blends technical learning with human connection. Hosted in partnership with Miami Institute of Photography at El Autobús, this hands-on workshop introduces the foundational elements of portraiture while creating space for experimentation and play.

“I Wonder… What It Would Be Like to Create with Pottery?” invites you to step away from screens and into the tactile, calming world of clay. Hosted in partnership with Pottery Studio 1 Miami, this immersive workshop introduces participants to the full pottery-making process, from shaping raw clay to understanding how a finished piece is fired and transformed.

“I Wonder…What It Would Be Like to Blow Glass?” invites participants into the dynamic world of molten glass, where heat, timing, breath, and precision come together in a remarkable act of creation. Hosted in partnership with Glass Bubble Miami, this beginner-friendly workshop offers a rare opportunity to work hands-on with professional instructors in a fully equipped studio environment.

“I Wonder… How Fashion is Made?” invites participants into the foundational craft behind every garment. Hosted in partnership with Fashion Institute of Florida, this in-depth, four-hour workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from an industry professional in an active fashion education environment.

“I Wonder… What It Would Be Like to Decorate a Cake?” invites participants into the vibrant and expressive world of cake design. Hosted in partnership with Cake It Miami, this hands-on workshop offers an evening of guided instruction, playful experimentation, and beautifully crafted results.

Have you ever wondered how architects turn a site into a meaningful place? In "I Wonder...What It's Like to Design Like an Architect?" with world-renowned Renzo Piano Building Workshop, you’ll explore and get a hands on opportunity to learn how vision, constraints, and context shape great architecture, learning how to think like a designer while creating your own concept.

The “What If?” Challenge invites young people ages 6–18 to imagine the future of creativity by answering: “What if you could design a Center for Creativity?”

Produced by The Center and set within the historic grounds of a garden in Miami, How to Hear Stillness transforms a traditional musical experience with world-renowned musicians of The Cleveland Orchestra into a restorative, intimate, and quietly powerful opportunity to experience (and learn about the power of) one of life's greatest enablers of creativity: stillness. Culminating in a beautiful sunset supper, guests will have the opportunity to reflect and connect through thoughtful and inspired conversation.
