“What Do You See?” Fellowship Short Film Premiere
After months of mentorship, exploration, and hands-on filmmaking, five young storytellers brought their original visions to life on the big screen at the “What Do You See?” Fellowship Short Film Premiere.
Selected from nearly 50 applicants across South Florida, these emerging filmmakers spent months developing their ideas, collaborating with mentors, and engaging in a creative process designed to mirror the skills of professional filmmaking. Their work ultimately came to life under the lights.
Guests gathered for a red-carpet celebration at the iconic YoungArts Jewel Box in Downtown Miami to experience this first-of-its-kind event celebrating the next generation of South Florida filmmakers. Throughout the evening, the filmmakers took the stage to share the inspiration behind their work and offered a glimpse into the creative journey that brought their stories from imagination to screen. The night concluded with a panel of film industry professionals selecting the evening’s standout film.
More than a premiere, the event was a celebration of curiosity, courage, and the next generation of creative voices.
